About the Jalebi Book Club
The Jalebi Book Club has been set up in partnership with the Book People to offer you a wide range of books at great prices, and also to enable you to read reviews written by people in your community, letting you know what other readers like yourself are enjoying.
There is no catch with our Book Club and you are not committed to buying books, so why not view our catalogue online and see if there is anything that catches your eye? You can buy just one book with no further commitment, although we hope that when you have looked through our fantastic selection of novels, cookery titles, business books, biographies and books for children, you will decide to buy a whole basketful!
If you’ve checked out Jalebi’s website you’ll know that we are passionate about giving something back to the community. The Jalebi Book Club continues this mission, by giving 10% of the value of all orders over the value of £30 placed by our customers to local good causes across the UK – which you can nominate. So you can treat yourself or a friend to a book and know that you are making a difference at the same time!
If you don’t have a local community project in mind – you can always nominate The Hunger Project, which supports the development of women leaders to bring about sustainable change in rural India. For every £25 raised, The Hunger Project will empower 100 people to meet their own basic needs and build better futures for their children.
